The Hampshire County Council, a partner of CISTC, works in collaboration with The Future Skills Centre. The centre opens up the opportunity to work within the world of construction. They provide a £3.8 million centre in Bordon which offers a range of full-time and part-time construction courses and apprenticeships. For further information please visit Bordon Future Skills Centre.

Hampshire County Council also work with Hampshire County Council’s Employment and Skills Hub (ESH), which sits within the Skills and Participation unit. The ESH is responsible for the Construction Skills Fund project, for which FSC is a delivery partner in north Hampshire. The County Council’s Construction Skills Fund project delivered more than 1100 training places in its first phase, qualifying learners with a CSCS card and support to get into employment. Almost 50 per cent of learners gained work in construction, and 30 per cent of them remained in sustained work after three months. Through its partnership with FSC, CISTC provided courses for CSF learners in plant/heavy machinery and streetworks, as well as use of its CSCS test centre.
