Surrey Training Group Meeting – CITB Grants and Funding

Yesterday our sister company, Surrey Training Group, held its first official meeting in our amazing new Training and Wellbeing Centre at the Natta Group Head Office.

Amy Denver from CITB presented a very comprehensive talk about CITB Grants and Funding. We know that this can be a confusing area and we are thankful to Amy. We are now all better informed on how we can use Grants successfully within our businesses. At CISTC we will be able to assist you with information on how you can make changes to your business and benefit from this knowledge.

The Meeting

The meeting was hosted by Toni Gray, Group Training Officer for the Surrey Training Group. She covered some really interesting and up-to-date topics and industry news, surrounding construction training. Toni also discussed how employees training records are stored and accessed. At the end, their members took part in a group discussion talking over issues around recruitment and Health & Safety. Chaired by Natta’s MD John Whelan, John shared his insight into how Natta deals with issues in these areas. The Businesses present collaborated together giving each other ideas to help improve best practice.
