The Surrey Skills Bootcamps at CISTC provide practical groundworks and plant operations training – giving you the skills and qualifications to start your career in construction.
This free, two-week, government-funded Surrey Skills Bootcamp offers hands-on training using real equipment at our purpose-built centre near Farnham. You’ll develop the knowledge, confidence and certifications that employers across Surrey and the wider region are looking for – helping you take your first step into a construction career.

During your two weeks at CISTC, you’ll complete a set of accredited training modules, including:
- CITB Health & Safety Awareness – including the CSCS Green Labourer Card
- NUCO Emergency First Aid at Work
- NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket
- NPORS Ride-On Roller ticket
- NPORS Plant Machinery Marshal training
By the end of the bootcamp, you’ll be site-ready with recognised qualifications that help you move straight into work.
