Macmillan Coffee Morning

On the 27th of September, the Natta Group took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support. We raised a grand total of £355 on the day. Natta decided to match this and round it up to a fantastic total of £715 raised for this good cause.

Our staff brought in an amazing array of delicious creative cakes with Elliot Braund’s chocolate construction masterpiece then went on to win the coveted prize of Natta ‘Star Baker’.

The day also saw staff take part in two sweepstakes games; ‘Dunk the Biscuit in the cuppa’ with blindfolded participants trying to dunk their biscuit sticker into the cup of tea was won by Sue Hardy. The other sweepstake was ‘Berry Good Guess’, where participants had to guess the number of berries in a pie. Lisa Lunn came up trumps by guessing 222 which was the closest to the answer of 223.

About Macmillian Coffee Morning

The first-ever Coffee Morning happened back in 1990. Since then Macmillan Cancer has raised over £200 million from the coffee mornings.  Back in 2018, the Macmillan Cancer raised almost £27 million from coffee mornings alone. They are aiming to top that this year.

Well done to all the winners and a massive thank you to everyone who got involved, supported and donated towards this great cause!
