JCB Open Day – 10th July!

JCB Open Day

JCB are set to hold their latest XSeries Dig Day at our award-winning training centre, on the 10th July. CISTC will be open all day for people to come down and visit us, plus we will be providing breakfast on what promises to be an exciting day!

JCB will be displaying their new machines the 13-15T X-Series excavators, our trainers and machines will also be available for people to test out themselves. On the day you will be able to see the 131X and 140X in action alongside the 220X and a 457 Wheel Loading Shovel.

The day provides a great opportunity for both plant owners and operators to try out the new JCB 13-15T X Series excavators. The new X-SERIES excavators will be direct replacements for the JS131, JS130 and JS145. The 131X retains its hire-friendly 55kW JCB EcoMAX engine, while the 140X and 150X continue to be powered by the 81kW JCB EcoMAX engine.

JCB commented on their excitement over their new excavators: “The three new machines take on the stronger X-SERIES appearance, with both fuel and hydraulic tanks being mounted within body panels that are double skinned and zinc plated for extra durability. The newly designed counterweight design boasts two impact points on the lower edge keeping all damage to an absolute minimum where possible.”

They went on to explain further: “The 13-15T models utilise the tried and test JCB Boom and arm design, with the 140X and 150X having larger bucket cylinders to deliver an additional 11% in tear-out force. With the power boost duration increased from 3 to 9 seconds to help with those troublesome areas, JCB tracked excavators are now more robust, efficient, comfortable and productive than ever!”
