CISTC Become a Disability Confident Member!

We are thrilled that CISTC has recently become a Disability Confident Member (Level 1).

We join over 20,000 organisations that have signed up to the scheme that provides companies with the knowledge to attract and recruit those with disabilities or long term health conditions.

This demonstrates our commitment to increasing our disability awareness and removing barriers that may prevent people within the organisation. At CISTC, we believe in inclusion for all and aim to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to fulfil their roles.

As a member, we have access to an online community where employers can share experiences and examples of good practice. We are also able to attend regular events discussing a range of disability employment topics. With this, there is the opportunity to progress further with the scheme as we gain more understanding and complete each level.

About Disability Confident

Launched in November 2016, the Disability Confident Campaign aims to change attitudes and behaviours in the workplace towards the recruitment of disabled people. The scheme can help employers recruit from the widest pool of talent and employ skilled and loyal staff by providing relevant information. Doing so also helps those seeking employment to feel confident in the companies they are applying to.
